Fall shopping can be intimidating sometimes.  Maybe you regularly go fall shopping like me to get a few new key items to have in your closet or maybe you stopped fall shopping when "back to school shopping" was no longer a thing for you to do. Either way, I think it's nice to refresh your closet every 6 months when the weather starts to dramatically transition. Before swapping out my clothes for each season I try to go through the closet and what I had in storage to decide if I really want to wear it again for the season at hand.  When sorting through my clothes I usually do 1 of 3 things: Donate it, sell it or trash it.  I know you feel bad throwing away those bras or undies you've had for 10 years but trust me  Goodwill does not want it either!  In the last few months, I've thrown away underwear, bras, jeans with giant holes, and a shirt or two that is not ready or able to be worn by someone else.  Since joining Poshmark , I've made a few sales w...

I was very sad to hear that Prince died earlier this week at only 57.  Like Bowie, I've always found Prince to be a rock legend and certainly a fashion icon. Although he was only 5'2'', great things come in small packages! Prince was someone who challenged gender roles and didn't conform to any of them really.  He lead a revolution in the steps of Bowie of questioning gender roles and being a beacon of hope for others with similar struggles. His music changed the face of rock and brought on new ideas sounds and a whole lot of funk.  Being as young as he was at his untimely death, I can only imagine what he could have done with more time.  Myself and many others around the world are saddened by his death but he has left a mark on the world of music and fashion, hopefully inspiring generations to come.

Was feelin' cute when I got home from work the other day and decided to take a few pictures. Right now at work, I'm working on Cruise 2017 swim.  It seems very far away, but we need to have everything done and photographed by the end of August! It's weird how fashion works sometimes. Since we've been so busy we haven't had a chance to do our bi-weekly trip to NYC for print shopping. David Bowie January 8th, 1947- January 10th, 2016 Although I'm writing this several months after his death, I still wanted to bring forward the importance of David Bowie and his contribution to music and fashion.  I do have to admit, I never was a huge  David Bowie fan,but there has been a number of songs and outfits that have inspired me over the years. In his life, Bowie produced 26 albums, did 14 world tours and appeared in 21 films and television shows. He accomplished so much during his time and his death was a huge loss in the world of rock and roll.  While all of these accomplishments are great, there have been some iconic outfits that have been worn by Bowie in the past years that made some of these moments famous and never forgotten.
