You've heard it about a million times now and it sounds like a broken record, "Practice social distancing." Social distancing according to the CDC (Center of Disease Control) is avoiding social interaction and in cases where you are in social situations to keep 6 feet between you and others around you to avoid spreading of disease. It is a practice being carried out by thousands of people across the country and the world right now with the global pandemic COVID-19 aka the Coronavirus spreading rapidly in our communities. I live in New Jersey about 2 hours south of New York City which is one of the top affected states/cities in the United States. Because so many of New Jersey citizens commute to and from NYC it's no surprise to me that our state is second below New York. Other states with a high amount of diagnosis include California, Washington state, Michigan and Florida. With all of this warm weather recently I've been sort of bitten by the spring bug a little early! Work has been crazy (as you can probably tell from my lack of posts) but I do have some down time every now and again to do some research and calm my mind with images of spring and summer.  I'm ready for it to be warm again and to get back into sandals and sundresses.  I LOVE  spring over summer but right now I'm welcoming the warmth. I feel like I've blinked and this long ass year is finally over. Although long, frustrating, emotional and rewarding; I don't totally hate 2015 like some people do in this moment. I've found this year to be a growing and learning process for myself. It's hard to believe that we are starting 2016! Wow! Last year I made myself a " Goals for 2015 " post and I'm writing now to update and see what I did, what I didn't and start thinking about what the 2016 goals are. Shall we review? 1. I want to write more- So overall, did I write more? Yes and no. Did I write more short stories or poetry? No. But I did join a great site, Gruemonkey and became their lead Rock & Roll writer and editor.  It's come at the cost of neglecting my own blog a little bit but I am glad I found the site.  I've been able to write more about music (my other love) and meet some interesting people.  The best part was getting to interview Sage Francis and Henry R...
