David Bowie January 8th, 1947- January 10th, 2016 Although I'm writing this several months after his death, I still wanted to bring forward the importance of David Bowie and his contribution to music and fashion. I do have to admit, I never was a huge David Bowie fan,but there has been a number of songs and outfits that have inspired me over the years. In his life, Bowie produced 26 albums, did 14 world tours and appeared in 21 films and television shows. He accomplished so much during his time and his death was a huge loss in the world of rock and roll. While all of these accomplishments are great, there have been some iconic outfits that have been worn by Bowie in the past years that made some of these moments famous and never forgotten. Life on Mars Some of Bowie's most famous suits were designed by Freddie Burretti , including the suit he wore in the music video "Life on Mars." As you might of seen in the last post, I really enjoy getting dressed up for special occasions! This time is was no different. Usually I end up going out and buying something new to wear to a wedding but in this case I already had a dress in my closet. A few months ago a girl I worked with at Timberland came by my desk with a dress that she said was a gift from someone but it didn't find her exactly. She's a little bit shorter than I am and the proportions were off for her. That's the down side to being a petite girl! (I'm not even at 5'2!) So she was kind enough to bestow it upon me! It also has the sweetest peter pan collar and a keyhole back. The shoes are Carlos by Carlos Santana and I got them for a steal at Buffalo Exchange in Philly a few years back.

I'm not exactly sure why but you can never have enough scarves if you ask me! I've always enjoyed black on black on black looks. The only problem I ever have is my blacks will never match, ever! #gothgirlproblems I got the shoes over the summer from Forever 21. They were the last of their kind! A lot of women that I work with are also
