I completely forgot about these edits that I did a couple of years ago! Since switching to a new computer I went through a lot of files and tried to better organize my work. Here are the pieces I uncovered This was a project that I only started to explore. Going forward I would love to try to something that incorporating screen printing on top of photographs or other digital prints. I recently started to see others sharing work like this and thought to myself, I do this all the time! Stay Strong & Style On -Kristina

Artist Thursdays: Whitney Ott

Recently in exploring different sites, blogs and spending hours on pinterest I came across the photographer Whitney Ott Ott is a photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia.  Her specialties are still life and food photography but I'm convinced that she can make anything beautiful Her site is wonderfully organized by dark, light and still life photos.  I love the darkness that she is able to capture within her photos.  Recently I've been using them more and more as mood and inspirational images while working on my projects.  Below are some personal favourite shots All photos are property and copyright of Whitney Ott Please be sure to check her out on facebook, instagram and her personal site to check out more of her work FACEBOOK  -   INSTAGRAM  -   WHITNEY OTT

Just LOOK  at these sweet baby angels!  Vogue did an editorial shoot with some cute kitty cats posing with their corresponding footwear.  Well done!   To see all of these adorable photos go here! I just don't know which I want more; the cats or the shoes! Happy catting! -Kristina

Artist Thursdays: Valentino

Valentino's Pre Fall 2015 was nothing short of genius, as usual.  I am pretty bias because I think Valentino can do no wrong these days. Valentino started designing back in the early 60's intially just for women. He opened his own fashion house in Rome and poured out new designs and looks that were feminine and showed off their best qualities. His house has always been creative and innovative and each season always leaves me floored. From RTW to couture, they do it all.  I've pulled some of my personal favourite looks from Pre Fall 15 and a Menswear looks I'd pair them up with.  Enjoy the magnificent beauty and if you care to see more check out style.com

I have a swallow tattoo on my upper back and I most recently got my queen of spades tattoo done on my bicep.  Each piece has a special meaning to me and I spent a long time thinking about what I wanted to get.  So far I haven't gotten any of the tattoos that I wanted to get while I was in high school, which is a good sign! It also reminds me that you should maybe wait a little bit longer after your 18th birthday to go and get a tattoo. This is my swallow tattoo: This was a little after it was fully healed. I got my first tattoo done in Cranston, RI at Iron Hand Tattoo by my talented cousin, Andrew Labanaris .  Well, he's really my second cousin, but none of the less he is an incredible artist.  Having a family member work on my tattoo was a true bonding experience and having him do m...
