It's the annoying time of year...again.  Valentine's Day!!

Single again this year? Hey! Me too!  We can be forever alone 2gether.  Last year for Valentine's Day I made a post about how you should TREAT YO SELF for the day. Because of course...you are always most important ♥

This year I've complied a few great pro and anti-valentines day items that you can also treat yo self with for the holiday at hand.  Check 'em out! All the links are in RED ♥


1. STOP FOLLOWING ME!


Got one of those annoying dudes/gals that just won't stop texting you or randomly 'bumping' into you? Wear this shirt from Forever21 all day.  Maybe they'll finally get that you're not interested.


2.  ANIMAL LOVE


How CUTE are these little animal socks with hearts from ASOS? Love your pets, they usually love you back. Find the cat ones here and the pug ones here!


3. LEAVE ME ALONE!


Check out this bad ass "LEAVE me ALONE" pin by ObscuredPunk on Etsy. Perfect for a jean jacket or your wool coat. Hell, wear it on anything!  People will hopefully get the idea!



4. IF YOU'RE SINGLE AND YOU KNOW IT. . .



If you're single and you know it pet your cat! *pet pet* Or you can pet your dog, or rabbit, or snake...which ever you may have.  Dogs and cats are a girl's best friend, right?  Scoop up this tee from ASOS, stat!


5. GET YO NAILS DID

One of my fellow alumnae Adrianne Paerels runs her own etsy shop YVNGPEARL and sells the coolest nail decals, patches and prints.  Check her out and grab 1 of 3 (or all 3) of her Valentine's day themed nail decals.


5. SWEETHEART


This cute little top is another etsy item made by fASHLIN.  It's a little bit more on the pricey side but you can't beat the creative and sassy responses on these sweethearts.  The graphic is also available in a sweatshirt too. Let your sweetheart know exactly how you feel ;)


6. MY MELODY & FRIENDS



You can scoop up this cute little graphic tee from UNIQLO. My Melody is one of the Hello Kitty characters. UNIQLO also carries many other cute graphic tees that are perfect if you're feeling on the sweeter side!


7. BE YOUR OWN CRUSH


Another great way to treat yourself is with this hand made patch, also made by Andy @ YVNGPEARL. As she states in her description; "In the wise words of RuPaul, 'If you don't love yourself, how the hell you gon love somebody else?!' Be your own crush! Love yourself!"
Trust me, I couldn't have said it better myself!

8. WINE O'CLOCK!


Need a drink? Hey, me too! You don't have to go through this valentines day alone! You can purchase this cute glitter flask from ASOS. Keep it in your desk drawer or in your jacket. Drink every time you see an awkward couple in public, make a game of it! But please, drink responsibly and don't text/call your ex! Trust me!

9. TINA IS MY SPIRIT ANIMAL



"Is it possible to be in love with 25 people at once?" My answer is, you can if you try hard enough! I couldn't keep track of that many to be completely honest. But if you can than more power to you! Tina may be a little out there but she always says exactly what she's thinking! Whether you feel the same way or not, you can always buy this rad sticker from SkinnyMister on Redbubble.

10. TREAT YO' SELF


After the long day you might have, you should treat yourself to a long bath accompanied by a bottle of wine and some candles. But seriously guys, take this day and remember to love yourself and maybe a other select few.  I will be celebrating by treating myself to a little shopping, maybe a bath and seeing Deadpool with a bunch of single friends.  Spread the love, stay strong and style on~

Polka Dot Queen

As you might of seen in the last post, I really enjoy getting dressed up for special occasions!  This time is was no different.  Usually I end up going out and buying something new to wear to a wedding but in this case I already had a dress in my closet.  A few months ago a girl I worked with at Timberland came by my desk with a dress that she said was a gift from someone but it didn't find her exactly.  She's a little bit shorter than I am and the proportions were off for her.  That's the down side to being a petite girl! (I'm not even at 5'2!) So she was kind enough to bestow it upon me!  I've been waiting for the right occasion to come along and this was it! The polka dot dress from Forever21 has a cute little peplum and also a mesh top which adds character to the dress.  It also has the sweetest peter pan collar and a keyhole back.  The shoes are Carlos by Carlos Santana and I got them for a steal at Buffalo Exchange in Philly a few years back.

Dark Vibes

Hi Everyone! I'm back!....I think. Since I went on hiatus, I've moved twice, got a new(er) position at Destination Maternity and still have been interviewing my butt off hoping that a new job will soon come along. I was really feeling my outfit the other week, so I had my roommate snap a couple of photos when I got home from work.  It's really a shame that it gets dark so early these days.  Don't get me wrong, I love  fall but I don't love how short the days become. The scarf was a gift from an old roommate.  Her boyfriend's mother had given it to her but she didn't want it.  I'm not exactly sure why  but you can never have enough scarves if you ask me! I've always enjoyed black on black on black looks.  The only problem I ever have is my blacks will never match, ever! #gothgirlproblems I got the shoes over the summer from Forever 21.
