Okay, so I know I'm super late on the whole Valentine's Day post, but things have been pretty hectic at work and at home!  Truth be told, this wasn't actually the outfit that I wore on Valentine's day.  I went with a strict black, white and red theme and wore my Alkaline Trio shirt with my black Rockstar Denim from Old Navy

I spent most of that day treating myself, going the mall, taking a bath, ordering my own personal pizza and just appreciating me.  To be honest, it was probably the best Valentine's day I ever had!

Anyways, back to the outfit at hand.

On my Valentine's day adventure, I stopped over at the Cherry Hill Mall to go to LUSH to pick up a few things and while I was there I stopped at J.Crew.  Usually I never buy anything from J.Crew mostly because it's not anywhere near my normal price point.  Since it was President's day weekend, they were having a special sale on clearance which included an extra 40% off on items already marked down.  So I bought myself a vintage tee and also this adorable "AMOR" shirt.

Overall, this is an easy comfortable look for me and can be dressed up or down depending on what your day looks like. I can even get away with this as a nice casual work look.

I also can't believe that February is already over! Time keeps going to quickly.  Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend ~

Polka Dot Queen

As you might of seen in the last post, I really enjoy getting dressed up for special occasions!  This time is was no different.  Usually I end up going out and buying something new to wear to a wedding but in this case I already had a dress in my closet.  A few months ago a girl I worked with at Timberland came by my desk with a dress that she said was a gift from someone but it didn't find her exactly.  She's a little bit shorter than I am and the proportions were off for her.  That's the down side to being a petite girl! (I'm not even at 5'2!) So she was kind enough to bestow it upon me!  I've been waiting for the right occasion to come along and this was it! The polka dot dress from Forever21 has a cute little peplum and also a mesh top which adds character to the dress.  It also has the sweetest peter pan collar and a keyhole back.  The shoes are Carlos by Carlos Santana and I got them for a steal at Buffalo Exchange in Philly a few years back.

Dark Vibes

Hi Everyone! I'm back!....I think. Since I went on hiatus, I've moved twice, got a new(er) position at Destination Maternity and still have been interviewing my butt off hoping that a new job will soon come along. I was really feeling my outfit the other week, so I had my roommate snap a couple of photos when I got home from work.  It's really a shame that it gets dark so early these days.  Don't get me wrong, I love  fall but I don't love how short the days become. The scarf was a gift from an old roommate.  Her boyfriend's mother had given it to her but she didn't want it.  I'm not exactly sure why  but you can never have enough scarves if you ask me! I've always enjoyed black on black on black looks.  The only problem I ever have is my blacks will never match, ever! #gothgirlproblems I got the shoes over the summer from Forever 21.
