Pizza Party!

Image
Last Friday some friends and I went to the Oval down by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.   The Oval is a space where the community can gather and have some fun!  All of the events are free to go to and there's a lot to do down there.  They have a beer garden, yard games and a small mini golf course!  The night that we went was for a screening of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie/ pizza party!! And strangely, Macaulay Culkin's cover band The Pizza Underground was playing a special show as well! Here are a few photos from a fun night! The sizable crowd!!! "I've always liked, 'cowabunga!'" Hope to head over there again and have some more fun! -Kristina

The apartment that I'm currently living in was built in the 1920's and the architecture inside and out is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is very clear and is shown throughout our apartment and other part of the building. While taking my own photos this week, I wanted to show off some of the details of the house. Top is French Connection UK , Jeans are Old Navy , Wedges are Timberland

Happy Friday!

Photo by:  barysiuk_viktoryia Finally it's Friday! I hope that everyone has something nice planned for the weekend.  I hear the weather is supposed to be pretty nice. With my roommate out for the week, I plan on movie marathons, maybe trying a new recipe and trying to have company over to break up the silence a little.  Treat yourself to something nice this weekend. Get a new outfit, buy yourself (or someone else) some flowers, buy a movie, go for ice cream do whatever you like to do best!  Don't you deserve it after a long week? -Kristina

For the beach this year I got myself a new swimsuit!  I don't buy one pieces a lot, or ever but for some reason this one actually fit well and I fell in love with the colour! Definitely perfect for getting into the spirit of the 4th! Happy Belated 4th! -Kristina (Props to my sister for taking the photos!)

The 4th!

Hello Followers and curious onlookers!  I am back from a short disappearance.  My internship with Destination Maternity has been going great, but I have been so busy!  Luckily, I was able to go home last weekend to spend the 4th of July weekend with my family. I took Thursday off and flew out that morning to Boston.  My trip was a long one that included, 2 trains, 1 plane and 1 bus ride to get all the way up the Maine.  But the journey was well worth it. My parents picked me up from the bus station and we rode into Portsmouth to have pizza for a late lunch! Later that evening it started to rain and unfortunately rained all day on the 4th of July, so we were stuck inside all day. My mom and I went by and visited with my grandmother for a little then my Aunt, Uncle and their two girls came over for dinner and we ordered Chinese (how American! haha) Thankfully the next day was beautiful and we were able to get down to the beach! My two younge...
